The CBC Perks+ mobile app is powered by BaZing, a discount network of thousands of deals across the U.S. When you’re near a store with an available discount, a geofence is triggered and an app notification is sent to your phone to remind you that there is a nearby offer available.

Notifications are completely customizable to each user, so you’re never given more notifications than you’d like to receive. You can choose to get notifications from only certain categories of businesses, like shopping or dining. You can also choose individual merchants to mute or turn the notifications off completely. This ensures all users have a positive experience that suit their unique notification preferences.
