The CBC Perks+ mobile app is powered by BaZing, a discount network of over 360,000 deals across the U.S. When a customer is near a store with an available discount, a geofence is triggered and an app notification is sent to the customer’s phone to remind the customer that there is a nearby offer available.

Notifications are completely customizable to the user, so they’re never given more notifications than they’d like to receive. Customers can choose to get notifications from only certain categories of businesses, like shopping or dining. They can also choose individual merchants to mute, or they can turn the notifications off completely. This ensures users have a positive experience that suit their unique notification preferences.
